7 November : LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL! (the Dears) & NIGHT LIGHT (White Lies)
3 Majors band go out this week with their lastest productions. First of all, Montreal's the Dears, 3 top10, then Portugal the Man, 3 top 10 and a n°1 and, at least, WHite Lies, 5 albums in the top 10 et their latest 3 n°1.
Grosse semaine avec un lot d'albums attendus, notamment 3 groupes, totalisant 11 top 10 et 4 n°1 - dont les 3 derniers White Lies. Je peux écarter d'emblée les américains d'Alaska - une approche assez déjantée de la pop. Reste les canadiens, revenus, après 10 ans d'absence, à leurs premiers accords, mi-folk mi-pop. Pour les anglais, l'album semble moins accessible... Mais il offre de belles promesses. Peut-être doit-il infuser?

Die Casino-Fläche ist gigantisch und bietet eine unglaubliche Vielfalt an Spielen. Ich erinnere mich noch gut daran, wie ich das erste Mal durch die „Straßen“ spaziert bin und mich wirklich für einen Moment gefragt habe, ob ich nicht doch den falschen Flug genommen habe.
Für Familien mit Kindern steht ein Kinderspielzimmer zur Verfügung.
Das Hacienda wird eröffnet (und bleibt bis 1996 bestehen, als
es implodiert, um Platz für das Mandalay Bay zu machen).
Das Tropicana wird eröffnet.Das Sans Souci Hotel (kein Casino) wird an der Stelle eröffnet, an der später das
Mirage entstehen sollte. Das Flamingo Capri, das nichts mit dem bekannteren Flamingo
zu tun hat, wird eröffnet und besteht bis 1979, als es zum
Imperial Palace wird. Ernie’s Casino wird in North Las Vegas eröffnet und
besteht bis 2001, als es zerstört wird, um Platz für das Wildfire
Casino zu machen. Das Caesars Palace wird eröffnet.Aladdin wird eröffnet (früher King’s Crown, jetzt Planet Hollywood).
Mit seinen erstklassigen Restaurants, exquisiten Spas und beeindruckenden Pools bietet es ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis für jeden Gast.
Dabei steigt Tony im Caesars Palace ab, entspannt dort am Pool des Hotels und zockt im dazugehörigen Casino.
Hierzu zählen die vielen Statuen, die Originalen in der
italienischen Hauptstadt Rom nachempfunden sind,
so wie zum Beispiel der Trevi-Brunnen mit seinen Götterstatuen. Es wurde
2003 eröffnet und seitdem sind hier berühmte Künstler wie Celine Dion oder Elton John aufgetreten.
