23 Fev - ORION (Dina Ögon) - For once, not so pop than it used to be here. Between jazzy and rhythm & blues, perhaps a little bit of Arlo Parks. But Dina's not a first name and "she" don't came from Chicago (birthplace of Motown's). THEY just are a band from Stockholm!! The singer is Anna Ahnlund.
Une fois n'est pas coutume, les guitares sont au placard. Ambiance jazz et rhythm & blues pour un quatuor suédois! Peut-être un côté Arlo Parks qui peut ravir les amateurs de sons plus tranchants.

16 Fev - ME MYSELF AND HER (Rukmouth) Don't know anything about this new band, except they sound like first Strokes albums. Impossible de trouver la moindre info sur ces petits nouveaux, si ce n'est une nette influence Stokes. Plus pop, le couple californien Chadwick sous le nom de Loud Forest pour une ambiance Fra Lippo Lippi ou Lotus Eaters. Enfin, après Shed 7, plongeon 30 ans en arrière dans la Brit pop avec le dernier Cast.
9 Fev - HARM'S WAY (Ducks Ltd) Betwen the Umbrellas and the Field Mice (who remembers them?), little pop. De la pop qui n'est pas sans rappeler les premiers Field Mice et toute l'écurie Sarah records. En second choix, Joe Wong marche sur les pas de Morrissey.
2 Fev - NATURAL MAGICK (Kula Shaker) Return of the 90's psychedelic band under the hands of Shiva. Semaine creuse, retour en Janvier avec le nouvel opus des Kula Shaker, encore plus mystiques. Bon point pour les compositions folk du canadien Charles Waytt Crosby (aucun lien de parenté).
