2 APRIL - HOW MANY DREAMS? (Dma's) - return of the aussie melodic band. Strong power pop songs, still great voice and many ballads (include summer's slow...) Fourth album on my lists, after two number one tracks.
9 APRIL - CONTINUE AS A GUEST (the New Pornographers) With their n°1 (Whiteout Conditions) nearly 5 years ago, the Vancouver band returns this spring with a collection of melodic songs.
Mélodique sans tomber dans la neurasthénie, une opportunité d'égaler leur place de n°1 en 2018...
SOMEBODY'S CHILD (Somebody's Child) after a collection of EPs, this is the 3rd band from Ireland to get into my ears (Inhaler, Academic) this year. Melodic guitars and strong voice.
Faisant suite à une ribambelle de EPs, les Irlandais marchent dans les pas d'Inhaler. Guitares en avant toute!
16 APRIL - EXOTICO (Temples) - one of my favorite bands of the last decade. n°1 in 2017 (both lps & singles). Still good tunes and great voice with arabic influences sometimes. Enjoy!
Certainement l'album du mois : voix superbe, 13 titres (de quoi faire!), mélodique et entrainant avec quelques influences arabisantes. Successeur aux n°1 de 2017 (5 titres dans le top10) mais nettement supérieur au "hot motion" de 2019.
23 APRIL - LITTLE PICTURES WITHOUT A SOUND (Senses) - Too less information about this new Uk band. Juste guitars & melodies I love to ear about.
Véritable découverte ce printemps pour ce groupe au nom pas facile : tapez dans Google, vous allez voir la catastrophe! J'ai même eu un Senses classé en 2009, originaire d'Allemagne. Cette fois, ça sonne bien perfide albion.
